The Atlas has great food and drink. We'll be playing two sets from 8-10 PM. Joining Larry and I will be John MacFarlane on fiddle, Tom Diamant on mandolin, and Dan Booth on bass. Bass TBA.

This will be our first time playing Amnesia, and we're really looking forward to it! We'll be sharing the bill with the Barefoot Nellies, a fantastic all-girl bluegrass band. John MacFarlane on fiddle, Tom Diamant on mandolin, and Dan Booth on bass. The Nellies are on around 8:30 or 9, and we'll be on at 10 PM.

We'll be warming up the Sonoma County Bluegrass Festival band lineup at McGrath's on Friday, Feb. 22, starting around 8 PM. 3 sets of bluegrass with Tom Bekeny and Tony Marcus sitting in on mandolin and fiddle!

We're very excited to be a part of this wonderful festival, which takes place at the Sebastopol Community Center. We're on at 1 PM - the first act. Tom Bekeny and Paul Shelasky sitting in on mandolin and fiddle!
Other acts include John Reischman & the Jaybirds, The Roadoilers, Nina Gerber and Kenny Edwards, The Mighty Crows, Sol Flamenco, and the Alhambra Valley Band.

We're honored to be playing a set at a new venue at the Grass Valley festival established in memory of the immortal Vern Williams. It's called "Vern's", and it will be located on the flat grassy area right off the wooden deck across from the luthier's pavilion. Our set will be from 6:30-7:30 PM on Friday night. Unfortunately, Jim can't make this gig. But we're happy to have Paul Shelasky joining us on fiddle and Butch Waller on mandolin. Please come on over and see us!

The Nightbirds rarely cross the Bay Bridge to play bluegrass in San Francisco - don't miss this appearance! Markie is in Nashville this week, so we'll have Pat Campbell sitting in on bass just like old times (he'll also be joining us at Murphy's on the 20th), and we're also very pleased to have Harry Yaglijian sitting in on mandolin!

We're honored to have been chosen as one of the Emerging Artist bands for Plymouth 2007! We will be performing on Friday, September 14 from 12:20-1:05. We're happy to have Harry Yaglijian joining us on mandolin, and Pat Campbell filling in for Markie on bass.

We're excited to play this festival! We will play a set on Saturday, September 22, from 4:15-5:15 PM, and a shorter gospel set from 2:45-3:15 PM on Sunday, September 23. We're happy to have Ed Neff joining us on mandolin and fiddle.
