Julay Brooks is a young bluegrass vocalist and guitarist who is making her mark in the Bay Area bluegrass scene. Julay's singing is distinguished by the fire and expression with which she delivers a song, and her voice has the unfeigned lonesomeness and edge of a true bluegrass singer. Her strong rhythm guitar helps give each song its particular feel, and she contributes leads in her signature melodic style.
